Woman dies in West Seattle fire: A woman was found dead in her apartment in the 9100 block of 45th Avenue Southwest early this morning. Our news partner the West Seattle Blog has the details.
UPDATE: 1:30 p.m. | Oh no! Crop circles: Yep, crop circles appeared in a wheat field near Wilbur in Eastern Washington last week, and no one is owning up to making them. Not again … Crop circles appeared in the area in 2009 and drew a good deal of tourist traffic.
You can’t out run the cops … on a scooter. A Poulsbo man riding a scooter was pulled over late Sunday by police for running a red light, but drove off when the officer went to get a field Breathalyzer test gizmo. Now, really. Police caught up to him after he fell off his scooter. The Kitsap Sun has the story.
Oh yeah, the garbage/recycle haulers are still on strike. At what point will customers say they’ve had enough of garbage piling up around them? Oops, we already hear some saying enough’s enough.
