Pedestrian hit by car in Seattle’s Crown Hill is in serious condition

A pedestrian who reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries after a car struck him in the Crown Hill neighborhood just after midnight is in serious condition this afternoon, according to Harborview Medical Center.

The man was crossing in the 9200 block of Holman Road Northwest around 12:10 a.m. when he was struck by a Toyota Camry, according to Seattle police. The victim, in his 20s, was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire Department medics.

Police evaluated the driver at the scene and determined he was not impaired. He was interviewed and released pending the findings of the investigation, police said.
