Pedestrian struck by car in North Seattle

A man suffered life-threatening injuries early this morning when he was struck by a car while he was crossing a street in Seattle’s Crown Hill neighborhood.

The man was crossing in the 9200 block of Holman Road Northwest around 12:10 a.m. when he was struck by a Toyota Camry, according to Seattle police. The victim, in his 20s, was treated at the scene by Seattle Fire Department medics before he was taken to Harborview Medical Center. 

Police evaluated the driver at the scene and determined he was not impaired. He was interviewed and released pending the findings of the investigation, police said.
