AUBURN – Police are getting a search warrant for the house where two men were shot during a home invasion Wednesday night in Auburn.
Cmdr. Jamie Sidell says detectives are still talking with the victims and two or three other people in their 20s who rent the house.
A 23-year-old and 24-year-old are at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle; one shot in a leg and the other in an arm.
Police say two or three intruders entered the house and shot the two after a struggle. A 38-year-old suspect was arrested near the scene and police found a gun nearby. Police are looking for one or two other suspects.
Sidell says there was some association between the intruders and residents, and the home was not a random target.
