Woman stabs 2, slashes herself at Tukwila motel

Tukwila police and detectives gather at the Boulevard Motel where two victims were taken to Harborview Medical Center after they were stabbed by a female suspect, who was found with self-inflicted stab wounds.

A woman stabbed another woman and a man at a Tukwila motel before locking herself in the bathroom, where she apparently cut herself, police said.

Police took the woman into custody a short time ago.

All three have been taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The incident happened at the Boulevard Motel the 14400 block of Pacific Highway South around 1:30 p.m. today, a Tukwila police spokesman said. After the woman stabbed the two victims, she then went to the bathroom and refused to come out, police said.

Police pulled her from the bathroom and discovered that she had apparently slashed herself with a knife. Her condition was not immediately known, but the two victims were described in serious condition.

The motive for the attack was not known.
