Man dies after plunge from Ship Canal Bridge
The State Patrol is investigating the death of a man who jumped from the Interstate 5 Ship Canal Bridge Saturday evening.
Troopers said the 24-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was walking southbound on the bridge when he jumped over a railing about 7:20 p.m., landing near the intersection of Sixth Avenue Northeast and Northeast Northlake Way.
He died at the scene.
