Man killed in I-5 wreck near Lynnwood

A 50-year-old man died Wednesday night after losing control of his car on southbound Interstate 5 near Lynnwood, according to the State Patrol.

It’s not yet clear what happened to the man, who has not been identified, but the State Patrol said he lost control of his vehicle, crossed all lanes of traffic and rolled his vehicle before it came to a rest on the freeway’s shoulder around 11:26 p.m. The accident happened near the 164th Street Southwest.

No other vehicles were involved, the State Patrol said.
