Man shot in Federal Way early this morning

A man was shot several times about 3 a.m. today at a home in Federal Way, according to Federal Way police.

A 911 call brought police to the home in the 29600 block of 24th Avenue South on a report of a shooting. When they got there, they found a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds. His girlfriend was there, but 6-8 people who reportedly had been at a party at the home earlier were gone, police said. The gunshot victim and his girlfriend to do not live at the home.

The man was taken to the hospital. His condition wasn’t immediately available.

Detectives we’re at the home and the neighborhood was being canvassed as part of the investigation.

Information is sketchy at this point. There’s no motive for the shooting or a description of the shooter.
