Man wounded, 20 rounds fired outside Seattle hookah bar

A man was shot outside Casablanca Hookah, a hookah bar near the Yesler Terrace neighborhood early this morning.

Seattle police say the man was shot after some type of argument with another man outside the bar, at 1221 S. Main St., just after 4 a.m. The gunman fled after the shooting; police say the shooting occurred near a crowd of 20 to 30 people.

Security staff at the hookah lounge said both men may have shot at each other. Police recovered 20 shell casings at the scene. Police did not release a description of the alleged gunman and no arrests have been made.

After being shot, the victim was driven to Swedish Medical Center on First Hill and was later taken to Harborview Medical Center. He was shot in the stomach and the buttock. His medical condition is unknown.
