The Taylor Bridge wildfire between Cle Elum and Ellensburg has burned 60 homes or other buildings and is endangering many more with reports that that blaze has grown to nearly 26,000 acres. A wet spring caused a lot of plant growth which is now dry and fueling the fire. Perfect conditions for a wildfire.
The second 520 bridge pontoon is scheduled to arrive at the Ballard Locks today.
