Pedestrian hit by car on Aurora Avenue North is seriously injured

A man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after a car hit him on Aurora Avenue North just before 6 p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department blotter.
The southbound Ford Mustang hit the man as he walked across Aurora near North 59th Street, the blotter said.
SPD’s ongoing investigation of the collision closed down southbound traffic on Aurora Avenue North for at least an hour.
