Authorities seek help identifying body found near Foster Island

The King County Medical Examiner wants your help in identifying this man who drowned near Foster Island earlier this month.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man whose body was recovered Sept. 3 from the water near Foster Island in Seattle.

It’s believed the unidentified man drowned sometime in mid-  to late August. His death has been ruled a suicide.

The man was white, young to middle-aged, 5-feet-10, 209 pounds, with black or brown hair and a possible receding hairline. He had no facial hair, no visible scars and no tattoos.

Several of his teeth had fillings, and he had a noticeable gap between his upper front teeth.

He was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt, black Merrell-brand sneakers and a black backpack.

Anyone with information on the man is requested to call the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, Investigations Division, at 206-731-3232, ext. 1.
