Body found in fountain at Seattle’s Freeway Park

A  body was discovered in a fountain in Seattle this afternoon.

Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson said officers were called Freeway Park, 700 Seneca St., shortly after 12 p.m. He said the body appears to be a male.

The park stretches over a portion of I-5 east of downtown Seattle from Seneca to University Street.

“At this point it appears to be a death investigation, no foul play,” Jamieson said.
