Driver killed in sewage truck crash near Yelm

One man was killed when a sewage tanker overturned on near Yelm, according to Times news partner KING-TV.

State Patrol Trooper Guy Gill tweeted the driver of the tanker was heading west on Highway 702 near Highway 507 when he drove through an intersection and into a parking lot, rolling the tanker.  About 3,000 gallons of landfill waste water was spilled onto the road.

There was reportedly heavy fog in the area at the time of the accident, said Gill.
