A motorcyclist is dead and his passenger injured after a Monday night crash that ejected them onto a Interstate 5 on-ramp in Seattle, according to Washington State Patrol.
As Clinton Siegmann, 23, of Fife drove a 2005 Yamaha YZF-R1T onto the southbound I-5 on-ramp from Mercer Street, he lost control at about 11:19 p.m and crashed. Both he and his passenger, Brittany Ollar, 24 of Henderson, Nev., were thrown off the bike. Ollar was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where she was in stable condition, Q13Fox news reported.
Siegmann was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both were wearing proper helmets, and Siegmann had a motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license, according to WSP.
