UPDATE: Object under SeaTac police car was sprinkler head

UPDATE AT 2:05 P.M.: The King County Sheriff’s Office says that a hunk of metal found underneath a patrol car in SeaTac was actually a sprinkler head, not a pipe bomb.

ORIGINAL POST:

Bomb disposal technicians with the King County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a possible pipe bomb found underneath a patrol car parked at SeaTac City Hall, 4800 S. 188th St.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Sgt. Cindi West said that deputies and bomb techs are on scene in SeaTac. The Sheriff’s Office provides contract police services for the City of SeaTac.

This blog post will be updated once more information is obtained.
