Road-rage incident led to fatal Seattle shooting

Seattle police say the fatal shooting of a  42-year-old man Friday night in the Roosevelt neighborhood resulted from a road-rage incident.

The shooting took place at the intersection of 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 75th Street at around 7:26 p.m. Witnesses told police they saw a silver BMW Z4 convertible pull up next to the victim’s car and the BMW’s driver fired several gunshots.

Witnesses described the suspect as a well-dressed white or Asian male in his late 20s to 30s with dark, slicked-back hair. Police said the BMW may have recent body damage, including a broken out passenger side window.

Anyone with information on the gunman or the vehicle is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police Homicide Tip Line at 206- 233-5000. Anonymous tips are welcome.
