Skateboarder hits truck in Shoreline

A 29-year-old skateboarder was hit by a truck in Shoreline Friday afternoon and is at Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 3 p.m. the man was unable to stop himself while riding east on North 157th Street when he hit a truck traveling north on the 15700 block of Wallingford Avenue North, according to witnesses.

The King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
