UPDATE AT 1:13 P.M.: A 24-year-old man is in custody after he robbed a downtown Seattle Key Bank branch, police said.
The man walked into the bank at 815 Second Ave. just before 11 this morning and demanded money be placed into a bag he was carrying, police said. The bank’s alarm was triggered.
Officers on patrol in the area saw the man walk out of the bank and he was arrested without incident. All of the cash was recovered and returned to the bank.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
ORIGINAL POST: Seattle police say they have a suspect in custody following a bank robbery in the 800 block of Second Avenue.
The robbery happened at about 11:15 a.m.
