Police: Devices at Ravenna Park not pipe bombs

UPDATE AT 12:10 P.M.: Seattle police say that two suspicious devices found in Ravenna Park this morning were not pipe bombs. Police did not elaborate on what the devices were.

Seattle police bomb technicians are in Ravenna Park investigating two suspicious devices found near the 15th Avenue Northeast bridge.

Seattle police spokesman Sgt. Sean Whitcomb described the devices as “suspected pipe bombs.”

Police have closed the bridge while they investigate.
