A gas station and a 7-Eleven were held up at gunpoint in Federal Way early this morning by the same two men who got away.
At least in one case, however, the robbers got nothing for their efforts, according to Federal Way police.
The robbers hit a Chevron station in the 1700 block of South 356th Street at 1.24 a.m. No one was hurt and police haven’t said if the gunmen left with any money or goods. Police were called and used dogs to look for the men but that turned up nothing, police said.
At about 1:46 a.m., two men believed to be the same men who held up the Chevron station showed up at a 7-Eleven in the 28700 block of Military Road South where they attempted to hold up the place. The clerk there got into a sturggle with one or both of the men and suffered some face and head injuries. The robbers got away, but empty handed, police said.
Police have surveillance video of both stick ups and are checking with other police agencies to see if they have had similar robberies involving these men.
