Two men die after Kirkland motorcycle crash

Two men died after a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Kirkland.

Both men were on the motorcycle, heading north in the park-and-ride lot in the 11600 block of Northeast 132nd Street at around 6:15 p.m. The motorcycle accelerated and hit the curb at high speed, falling nearly 20 feet to the road below. One of the men was struck by a passing car, according to Kirkland Police.

Both men were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where they died of their injuries. Their identities have not been released.
