A World War II veteran with dementia and Alzheimer’s has been missing from his Puyallup home since Tuesday afternoon, according to Pierce County Sheriff’s Department detectives.
Roy J. Alldritt, 89, was last seen at about 4 p.m. when he drove his roommate to Seattle’s Pacific Medical Center at 1101 Madison St. with a small black dog, according to a release. The roommate came back out of the building 15 minutes after being dropped off expecting Alldritt to still be there, but he wasn’t.
Alldritt also hasn’t returned home or contacted family or friends, according to the Pierce County Sheriff Department.
Alldritt stands at about 5-foot010, weighs about 165 pounds, has white hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with a Porsche logo on the chest and a black Air Force baseball hat.
His vehicle is a white 1996 Toyota pickup with a canopy and a boat rack, and Washington license plate number A64677Z.
