SPOKANE — The father of a wanted man helped Spokane County sheriff’s deputies arrest the son.
The father called a sheriff’s sergeant Tuesday and said he wanted his son taken into custody before anything bad happened to him. He said he was going to pick up his son and told the sergeant when and where they would be driving.
The sheriff’s office says the car was stopped and the suspect taken into custody without incident.
The son is suspected of stealing a car Monday, shoplifting, fleeing from a deputy and running away from a crash.
