Dead shark left at Aberdeen boat launch

ABERDEEN — Authorities in Aberdeen would like to talk with anyone who can explain how a dead shark was left at a boat launch on the Wishkah River.

KBKW reports it appears to be a 7-foot thresher shark. It was left overnight in the parking lot.

The state Fish and Wildlife Department and Aberdeen Animal Control were notified.
