King County inmate dies day after booking

A King County Jail inmate from Seattle died Saturday morning at Harborview Medical Center according to the King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Archie Tucker, 66, but it did not release the cause of death. He was taken to the hospital on Friday, the same day he was booked into the jail for warrants of fourth-degree assault related to domestic violence and property destruction, according to a King County release.

The Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention will work with Public Health – Seattle & King County to conduct on an internal investigation of Tucker’s death.
