When you gotta go, you gotta go. But a cop car?
A man was cited earlier this week after he was caught red-handed — OK, poor choice of words — urinating on a Seattle police car.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in the University District, according to police. The officers parked their patrol car in a parking lot at Northeast 47th Avenue Street and University Way Northeast, got out and went on a short patrol.
When they returned to their car they saw a man urinating on one of the doors, police said.
The officers ordered the man to zip up his pants — awkward — and put his hands on a nearby wall so they could pat him down.
Can you say “rubber gloves”?
As officers were talking to the man, a crowd of people gathered. Concerned for their safety, the officers took the man to the North Precinct, cited him for public urination and released him, police said.
