Man killed at Tacoma house party

One man has died after a shooting at a house party in Tacoma early Sunday.

The shooting took place around 12:40 a.m. in the 200 block of South 29th Street, according to Tacoma Police Officer Mark Fulghum.

The resident of the house was having a party when an “unknown male suspect” showed up in a light-colored older SUV, got into an argument with a man, pulled out a handgun and fired a round into the ground, then fired multiple rounds into the man he had been arguing with, according to police.

The suspect then took off in the SUV.

The shooting victim was taken to Tacoma General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
