Man shot to death in South Seattle identified

The 26-year-old man found shot to death in a car Thursday morning in South Seattle has been identified as J.J. Turner by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Turner died of multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body while sitting in the driver’s seat of a blue Buick Le Sabre.

Residents near the homicide scene at 54th Avenue South and South Grattan Place South told Seattle police they heard multiple gunshots around 4 a.m.
