Redmond couple robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning
Redmond police have released these sketches of two men who robbed a Redmond couple at gunpoint early this morning.
The couple had parked their vehicle in the 2500 block of 173rd Place Northeast around 1:30 a.m. when they were approached by the two men, each armed with a handgun. The victims were robbed of cash, jewelry and personal items, police said.
One victim suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention, although a police account did not indicate how the victim was injured.
The two armed men got into a two-tone older model vehicle, possibly a truck with a canopy or SUV, and drove off.
The robber pictured at the left is described a black man in his 30s, about 5-feet-11 to 6 feet tall with a thin build. He wore a black shirt and black pants.
The second man, pictured at the right. is also black, about 35, and 6-feet-2 with a thin build. He wore dark clothing, police said.
Anyone who recognizes either man is asked to call 911.
