Robber bites off part of man’s lip in Beacon Hill

A man was hit over the head with a rock, and part of his lower lip was bitten off when two men robbed him in a wooded area of Beacon Hill called the “Jungle” early Tuesday morning, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The attack happened just before 1:30 a.m. as the victim was walking in the area on the west side of Beacon Hill with another man, according to Seattle police. They told police that two men had approached them from under Interstate 5 and then hit the victim with a rock.

One of the suspects then bit off part of the victim’s bottom lip and bit him on the neck. The suspects took the victim’s wallet and watch before riding away on a bicycle, according to the police department’s online blotter.

Medics took the victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. His uninjured friend told officers he’d seen men in the area before but didn’t know them.
