Bank robber arrested in the International District
A woman who robbed a bank in Seattle’s International District on Saturday morning was arrested about two hours later, according to Seattle police.
The woman walked into the Bank of America branch in the 500 block of South Jackson Street at about 9:30 a.m. She passed a note to the teller implying that she had a gun and would kill employees if they didn’t hand over cash. The woman fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Seattle police conducted an intensive search and arrested the suspect south of downtown. She was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of robbery.
