Firefighters find marijuana in burning Renton home

The Associated Press

When firefighters went into a burning house in Renton this morning looking for residents, they didn’t find any people.

They did find marijuana growing in three rooms.

The two-story home was badly damaged by the fire that was reported after 5 a.m.

Neighbors told KOMO Radio a man who lived at the home was frequently gone for a week at a time.
