New mudslide extends cancellation of Northline Sounder line

A new mudslide has extended the closure of Northline Sounder train service between Seattle and Everett to include Wednesday.

Back-up bus service for Edmonds, Mukilteo and Everett can be found on Sound Transit’s website.

Sounder trains won’t run Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving.  The trains will operate on a special holiday schedule Friday — if there aren’t any more mudslides. Might want to keep yourself updated on that one.
