Prius hits 3 pedestrians, including a child, in Seattle’s University District

A 4-year-old boy and two women are in stable condition after a Toyota Prius hit them in Seattle’s University District this afternoon.

Seattle police say the car hit the three pedestrians at Northeast 50th Street and University Way Northeast around 3:25 p.m. The boy, his mother and another woman estimated to be  in her 30s were taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to Seattle Fire.

The boy’s sister was also at the scene but was not harmed, according to the Seattle Police Department’s online blotter.

The Seattle Police Department is investigating the accident.
