Sketch released of man who raped woman near Burien

The King County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of a man who raped a woman near Burien Monday.

The man raped the 23-year-old woman at her home in the Top Hat neighborhood of unincorporated King County while her toddler son slept on a couch nearby. He and a masked accomplice broke into the home after pistol-whipping the woman’s boyfriend near the home’s front door.

While the man depicted in the sketch assaulted the woman at gunpoint, his accomplice ransacked and robbed the home. The rape suspect is described as a black male, around 20 years old, about 5-foot-5, 170-180 pounds who was wearing a gray hoodie. The masked suspect is described as a black male around 20 years old, 6 feet tall, slim build, 190 pounds who wore gray, possibly Air Jordan, shoes and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at 206-296-3311.
