UPDATE: Power restored to 3,000 City Light customers
UPDATE 10 a.m. | Power was restored to all but about 40 City Light customers by 9 a.m. The overnight outage, caused when a falling tree hit power lines, affected the Burien and SeaTac areas.
Utility crews are working to restore power to thousands of Puget Sound area homes and businesses that lost power in the storm
At 7 a.m. Seattle City Light reported three outages remaining, affecting nearly 3,000 customers.
Puget Power reported that crews were responding to a few scattered outages.
