The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the body recovered over the weekend from the Granite Falls area as Mark E. Acord.

Acord, 56, of Granite Falls, had been missing since Dec. 1. His body was found below a 200-foot cliff  near the Stillaguamish River and recovered Sunday.

The medical examiner’s office will determine the cause and manner of Acord’s death.
