Ferry service reduced this week
Ferry service will be reduced this week on two Puget Sound routes because of repairs to three ferries, the Walla Walla, Sealth and Klahowya.
Two sailings – the 1:30 p.m. trip from Seattle (to Bremerton) and the 12:20 p.m. ride from Bremerton (to Seattle) — will be canceled Dec. 10 through Dec. 14, according to Washington State Ferries.
Service between Seattle and Bremerton will be somewhat augmented by a Kitsap Transit passenger-only ferry.
The Fauntleroy/Vashon/Southworth route will be on a two-boat schedule, down from three boats. Service will be supplemented a bit by the 34-car Hiyu.
