Man held in connection with Seattle bank heist, police chase
A King County judge found probable cause to hold a man police suspect robbed a North Seattle bank Saturday while claiming to have an explosive device strapped to his body. The bank robber also carjacked a man, then led police on a chase that ended with a rollover at the Edmonds ferry dock.
Jeffrey Trask, 30, of Beaverton, Ore. is being held at a King County Jail on $750,000 bail for investigation of first- and second-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping and attempting to elude a police vehicle.
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has until Wednesday to file charges against him.
