Marysville teen arrested in connection with espresso-stand robberies

An 18-year-old from Marysville suspected of robbing several espresso stands was arrested Saturday by Everett police.

Officers said they went to an apartment in the 1200 block of Pacific Avenue.  where they found the woman hiding in the bathroom.  They also impounded a large kitchen knife.

The woman fits the description of three recent espresso-stand robberies —  on Nov. 17,  20 and 26.  Two were at the same espresso stand in the 500 block of 128th St. Southwest.  The Nov. 20 robbery was in the 400 block of Southwest Everett Mall Way.

In all three cases, police say, a woman with a knife demanded money from a barista, then left in a red pickup truck with no canopy.   She was described as white, in her 20s, with facial piercings.

Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call the Everett Police Department’s tip line at 425-257-8450 or the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
