Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office seeks leads on Edmonds hit-and-run

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help in locating a truck involved a hit-and-run that injured a 15-year-old boy late Monday afternoon.

The teenager was walking northbound on 92nd Avenue West, just north of 221st Street Southwest in the Esperance neighborhood at about 4:45 p.m. when he was struck by the passenger side mirror on the passing truck, according to the sheriff’s office.

The impact was loud enough to be heard by witnesses nearby, and was severe enough to knock the mirror off the truck and send the teenager to the hospital, where he was treated and released, according to the sheriff’s office.

Detectives are looking for a Ford-150 pick-up truck with a club cab,  light in color, possibly gold.  Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office at 425-388-3845.
