Sounder North service canceled through at least Wednesday a.m.

Sounder North train service, which runs between Everett and Seattle, is canceled through Wednesday morning because of what Sound Transit describes as “slope instability.”

Service for Wednesday afternoon and beyond will be decided Wednesday morning as more definitive information becomes available.

Passenger train traffic between Seattle and Everett has been shut down for several days because of  mudslides north of Seatttle.

For Amtrak information, see amtrak.com/service-alerts-and-notices. For information about Sound Transit, check www.soundtransit.org.
