Sunday Memo: No rain … McDreamy and Howard Schultz … Seahawks

National Weather Service / Forecast

Good morning. We’re running a little late on this last Sunday of the year. Not as late as Congress in solving the fiscal cliff, but…

Weather: It’s not raining! And it’s not supposed to today. Highs in the low 40s. Enjoy.

Starbucks bids for some Tully’s stores: Reporter Melissa Allison reports that Starbucks is among seven bidders for Tully’s Coffee — with interest in acquiring about half of the Tully’s stores. But what about McDreamy’s bid? Howard Schultz vs. Patrick Dempsey? Do we need to do a poll? Catch up on the latest with Dempsey and Starbucks and Tully’s.

Seahawks: As Seattle takes on the Rams today at CenturyLink, reporter Danny O’Neil says, there’s more at stake than possible post-season positioning. “There’s the matter of momentum,” he writes, “an important question of consistency for this young team that has just now found its stride.” See the full story. The game starts about 1:25 p.m. on Channel 13.

More interested in catching up on a movie? Some of critic Moira Macdonad’s top picks for 2012 are still in theaters.
