10 pounds of packaged pot delivered to North Seattle Kmart
Attention Kmart shopper: 10 pounds of pot was delivered to the North Seattle store.
Seattle police have seized a neatly packaged load of marijuana after employees reported it had been inexplicably delivered Monday to the Kmart at 13200 Aurora Ave. N.
The pot was wrapped in garbage bags and packed with packing peanuts and pages from a Korean newspaper that had been soaked with cleaning fluid, police said.
Delivery information on the package indicated it was originally shipped from Los Angeles to a Philadelphia address, but the 10 pounds of pot never made it to its intended destination, police said.
Instead, it was sent to the address on the return label, which for some reason was the Kmart store.
