Comedian ‘Katt’ Williams faces new harassment charge connected with Seattle visit
The comedian Micah “Katt” Williams is facing a new misdemeanor charge connected with his visit to Seattle last month, the City Attorney’s office says in a news release.
On Dec. 2, Williams allegedly was involved in a fight with two people at the World Sports Grille on West Lake Avenue North, the City Attorney’s Office says. He now faces a harassment charge resulting from that fight.
Two assualt charges against Williams are already pending in Seattle Municipal Court, the City Attorney’s Office says. When the comedian did not appear for his arraignment on the assault charges, warrants were issued for his arrest. His next court date in Seattle is Feb. 1.
Since his departure from Seattle, Williams has been arrested twice in Los Angeles, the City Attorney’s Office says: Dec. 28 on suspicion of child endangerment and Jan. 8 on suspicion of evading a police officer.
