UPDATE: Man, 82, slain in Marysville
UPDATE 6:53 P.M: Marysville police have confirmed this morning’s homicide victim was a Level 3 sex offender. According to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office website, Level 3 sex offenders “pose a high risk to re-offend within the community at large.”
Detectives have not identified any possible suspects yet, said Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux.
1:28 P.M.: Police are searching for a champagne-colored 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup, Washington license B03681A, in connection with the homicide. The pickup belonged to the victim and has been reported stolen, police said.
“If located, we are considering the occupants as being armed and dangerous and ask that the public do not try to intervene. We simply want them to call 911 to report the location of the vehicle,” Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.
