Man arrested in violent Greenwood home invasion
Seattle police have arrested a 19-year-old man wanted for a violent Greenwood home invasion on Jan. 20. Detectives suspect he’s involved in several other violent robberies in the same area.
Officers spotted him near Mount Baker Sunday and caught him after chasing him on foot. Not far from where they arrested the man, a handgun was found. He’s been booked into King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
During the home invasion at North 92nd Street and Greenwood Avenue North, the man allegedly pulled a gun on several victims. A man fitting the same description threatened to shoot other victims in hold-ups in the area over the past month, according to police.
