Military ordnance found in Aberdeen home
ABERDEEN (AP) — While police were arresting a man in Aberdeen Monday night on a car theft charge they found three mortar or artillery rounds in his home.
Capt. John Green says police called an ordnance disposal unit from Joint Base Lewis-McChord to take custody of the explosives.
Green told KBKW and KXRO that at least one of the three rounds was still live.
