Photo of Seattle cop impersonator released
Seattle police have released a photo of a man they believe impersonated a cop several times last month in Seattle’s Volunteer Park, then robbed his victims.
Ryan Purdy, 46, also known as Tracy Byers, allegedly flashed a gold badge, implied he was a police officer, then took cash and credit cards from his victims.
Anyone with more information about Purdy can contact the Seattle Police Department’s robbery unit at 206-684-5535 or call 911.
